LNG Academy adalah program pendidikan jenjang Diploma III (D-3) kerjasama antara Badak LNG dan Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ) yang dimulai sejak tahun akademik 2011-2012 dengan Jurusan Teknik Mesin - Program Studi Teknik Konversi Energi - Konsentrasi Teknik Pengolahan Gas yang memiliki 3 (tiga) peminatan studi yaitu :

2.Teknik Perawatan Mekanikal dan Rotating
3.Teknik Perawatan Listrik dan Instrumentasi
VISI LNG ACADEMY
Menjadi pusat keunggulan (center of excellence) dan rujukan pendidikan keteknikan di bidang LNG yang mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang professional dan kompeten di bidang pengoperasian dan perawatan kilang LNG serta diakui pelaku bisnis LNG di dunia.
MISI LNG ACADEMY
1.Menyelenggarakan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran secara menyeluruh agar peserta didik dapat menjadi praktisi / akademisi yang tidak hanya professional dan bermutu secara akademis namun juga memiliki akhlak, martabat dan integritas yang tinggi.

INFORMASI& KEUNGGULAN LNG ACADEMY
1.Peserta didik yang lulus akan memperoleh ijazah Diploma III dari Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ).
Peserta didik akan mendapatkan beasiswa penuh (tidak dikenakan biaya kuliah dan akan mendapatkan uang saku, buku literature, akomodasi, seragam kuliah dan berbagai fasilitas lainnya).
2.Kegiatan perkuliahan dan praktikum dilakukan di kampus Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ), Depok selama Campus Month dan selanjutnya dilakukan di learning center dan kilang Badak LNG Bontang hingga selesai.
3.Masa studi adalah maksimum 6 (enam) semester dengan komposisi 40% teori dan 60% praktek yang dilakukan di laboratorium, shop (bengkel) dan kilang pengolahan LNG & LPG.
Komposisi staf pengajar 22% akademisi dari Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ) dan 78% praktisi dari Badak LNG.
4.Selama 4 (empat) semester setiap hari Sabtu peserta didik wajib mengikuti kegiatan pendidikan kedisiplinan dan wawasan kebangsaan yang dibina oleh KODIM 0809 Bontang.
5.Kegiatan perkuliahan di Bontang mengikuti hari dan jam kerja normal di Badak LNG yaitu hari Senin s.d Kamis jam 07.00 - 16.00 WITA dan Jum'at jam 07.00 - 17.00 WITA.
6.Setiap peserta didik wajib lulus seluruh mata kuliah dan peserta didik yang tidak lulus satu mata kuliah akan di Drop Out (tidak dapat melanjutkan studi) karena tidak ada sistem mengulang mata kuliah yang tidak lulus di semester atau tahun berikutnya.

Lulus SMA/SMU/ Madrasah Aliyah dan usia maksimum 19 tahun (kelahiran tanggal 1 Januari 1995 atau setelahnya).
Sehat baik jasmani maupun rohani serta tidak buta warna
Tidak pernah terlibat dan atau menggunakan narkotika dan zat/obat psikotropika lainnya.

International PhD Programme of the Helmholtz Graduate School at the MDC
The Helmholtz Graduate School “Molecular Cell Biology” is a collaboration between the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU), Freie Universität Berlin and Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin medical faculty. We offer, alongside outstanding research training, an interdisciplinary platform for structured PhD training to all doctoral students at the MDC. The graduate school currently supports 350 PhD students, one third of whom come from abroad.

Undergraduate Students
Application Guide
Applications are made directly to the International Office. Students can apply for up to five academic programs listed in order of preference. Applications are evaluated by a Faculty Board. Students placed in an academic program will be announced on our website. Students accepted for studies at Okan University will receive a Letter of Acceptance issued by the International Office. They will then apply for a Student Visa at the nearest Turkish Consulate in their home countries.
Admission Criteria
International students applying for an undergraduate program at Okan University must submit a national or international examination result. Please click to see the list of examinations and the minimum scores we accept.
Language Requirements
All undergraduate students have to prove their proficiency in English before they can start the first year of their academic program. International students who are unable to submit the required English language test scores during their application can take the Okan University English Proficiency Test upon arrival. Students who fail the test will attend Okan University Intensive English Program for one year. This year is not included in the total number of years required for graduation.
Test scores for English proficiency: TOEFL-PBT: 513, TOEFL-IBT: 65, IELTS: 5.5, Okan University Proficiency Test: 60/100
Students accepted to an academic program taught in Turkish, except for those whose native language is Turkish, have to prove their proficiency in Turkish before they can start the first year of their academic program. Students can take the TOMER test upon arrival. Students, who fail the TOMER test, can take intensive Turkish classes at TOMER or at Okan University for a year.

Undergraduate Students
Application Guide
Applications are made directly to the International Office. Students can apply for up to five academic programs listed in order of preference. Applications are evaluated by a Faculty Board. Students placed in an academic program will be announced on our website. Students accepted for studies at Okan University will receive a Letter of Acceptance issued by the International Office. They will then apply for a Student Visa at the nearest Turkish Consulate in their home countries.
Admission Criteria
International students applying for an undergraduate program at Okan University must submit a national or international examination result. Please click to see the list of examinations and the minimum scores we accept.
Language Requirements
All undergraduate students have to prove their proficiency in English before they can start the first year of their academic program. International students who are unable to submit the required English language test scores during their application can take the Okan University English Proficiency Test upon arrival. Students who fail the test will attend Okan University Intensive English Program for one year. This year is not included in the total number of years required for graduation.
Test scores for English proficiency: TOEFL-PBT: 513, TOEFL-IBT: 65, IELTS: 5.5, Okan University Proficiency Test: 60/100
Students accepted to an academic program taught in Turkish, except for those whose native language is Turkish, have to prove their proficiency in Turkish before they can start the first year of their academic program. Students can take the TOMER test upon arrival. Students, who fail the TOMER test, can take intensive Turkish classes at TOMER or at Okan University for a year.

Korean Government Scholarship for Undergraduate Students
Application for 2011 Government Scholarship Program
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is recruiting '2011 Government Scholarship Students'. For more details, please refer to the following information.
1. Qualification : Applicants must meet all the following conditions:
a. Applicants must be 2nd or 3rd or 4th year undergraduate students.
b. GPA for the last semester must be over 80 out of 100.
c. Applicants must pass a minium fourth level in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).
※ Students who have already received scholarships from the Government of Korea or other institutions are NOT
allowed to apply. (ex. Students who have received scholarships from foreign governments or Il-Woo
Foundation or 4 year scholarships are NOT allowed to apply)
2. Quota : Total 200 international students from all universities in Korea
3. Scholarship
a. Amount : Annually KRW 6 million per student (KRW 0.5 million X 12 months)
b. Winners of the Scholarhip will receive the money over an year.

Beastudi Etos membuka kesempatan bagi putra-putri terbaik di seluruh Indonesia untuk menjadi Etoser 2011. Tahun ini Beastudi Etos menyediakan kuota untuk 150 orang. Berbeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya yang hanya terbuka untuk 135 orang. Penambahan jumlah penerima manfaat ini karena ada penambahan dua universitas sebaran program Beastudi Etos, yaitu Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) dan Universitas Mulawarman (UNMUL). Dengan demikian, saat ini Etos tersebar di 13 PTN di 11 kota Indonesia.
Seleksi Nasional ini akan juga melibatkan panitia daerah, yang terdiri dari manajemen Etos daerah. Dimulai pada 05 Januari lalu, seleksi ini berlangsung, dan akan berakhir pada 31 Maret 2011. Seperti SMART, seleksi Etos juga melewati beberapa tahap, yaitu seleksi administratif, tes tertulis, wawancara, dan home visit.

Erasmus Mundus: Masters Scholarship Programme 2011-12 in International Performance Research (MAIPR) for International Students

MA in International Performance Research (MAIPR) Erasmus Mundus programme for International Students
Funded by the European Commission, the MA in International Performance Research (MAIPR) Erasmus Mundus programme from autum 2011 will be offered by four internationally renowned academic institutions: the University of Warwick in the UK; the Universiteit van Amsterdam (the University of Amsterdam) in The Netherlands; the Tampereen Yliopisto (the University of Tampere) in Finland, the latter in cooperation with Helsingin Yliopisto (the University of Helsinki); and the Arts University of Belgrade (Serbia)
Students study at two of these institutions, a home and a mobility institution. The two institutions at which you study – and either can be your home or your mobility location – will be a combination of Warwick, Amsterdam and Arts Belgrade. You also conduct fieldwork and arts research in these countries. You will spend from the beginning of the course until the December holiday break at your home institution. You then go to your mobility institution, where you will study until the end of June. When you finish your mobility period, you will be expected to complete your studies at your home university.
In addition, all students attend a summer school in Finland, run by Tampere, thereby benefitting from additional teaching and supervision by Finnish tutors throughout the programme.
Students successfully completing the programme will receive a double degree from the Universities of Warwick, Amsterdam or Arts Belgrade.
Erasmus Mundus Scholarships: the European Commission, via the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), funds two scholarship competitions for outstanding students from outside the EU and for selected EU/EEA/EFTA students, as well as for a number of visiting scholars. Erasmus Mundus Scholarships (SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION)
Erasmus Mundus (EM) Scholarships are funded by the European Commission (EC), under the management of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). EM scholarships are awarded to the strongest applicants to the MAIPR programme itself, in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the EACEA.
EM Scholarship Competition 2011-12 Eligibility: Erasmus Mundus has two separate competitions, Category A and Category B:
CategoryA: € 36 000: The application deadline is Tuesday, 4th January 2011
Category A scholarships are aimed at covering all the costs of the programme, therefore fees, travel and living expenses over 16 months:
* 10 scholarships for eligible third-country applicants (therefore those whose nationality and place of abode are outside of the EU/EEA/EFTA area) who have lived, studied and/or worked for LESS THAN a cumulative period of 12 months within the EU/EEA/EFTA area as at 31 January 2011.

MA in International Performance Research (MAIPR) Erasmus Mundus programme for International Students
Funded by the European Commission, the MA in International Performance Research (MAIPR) Erasmus Mundus programme from autum 2011 will be offered by four internationally renowned academic institutions: the University of Warwick in the UK; the Universiteit van Amsterdam (the University of Amsterdam) in The Netherlands; the Tampereen Yliopisto (the University of Tampere) in Finland, the latter in cooperation with Helsingin Yliopisto (the University of Helsinki); and the Arts University of Belgrade (Serbia)
Students study at two of these institutions, a home and a mobility institution. The two institutions at which you study – and either can be your home or your mobility location – will be a combination of Warwick, Amsterdam and Arts Belgrade. You also conduct fieldwork and arts research in these countries. You will spend from the beginning of the course until the December holiday break at your home institution. You then go to your mobility institution, where you will study until the end of June. When you finish your mobility period, you will be expected to complete your studies at your home university.
In addition, all students attend a summer school in Finland, run by Tampere, thereby benefitting from additional teaching and supervision by Finnish tutors throughout the programme.
Students successfully completing the programme will receive a double degree from the Universities of Warwick, Amsterdam or Arts Belgrade.

2011 Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program &U.S. Diversity Fellowship

The Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society’s Emerging Leaders International Fellows Program provides leadership training through seminars and applied research.
Job Description: Fellowship awards are available for emerging leaders at community foundations and organizations that support community philanthropy. Those interested in building Third-Sector capacity and strengthening local philanthropy are encouraged to apply.
This year’s Fellows will be selected from abroad and also from communities of color under-represented in the U.S. grantmaking sector. Fellows are based at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York, where they design and pursue an individualized research project and participate in a seminar with Third-Sector leaders.The Center determines the program’s topics of focus each year.
From Monday February 28 to Friday May 27, 2011 Fellows will participate in a 3-month seminar on the U.S. and international voluntary sectors. They will learn about issues in the field and will meet with leaders of foundations, philanthropy support organizations and other nonprofits. They will also attend selected workshops or conferences.Fellows are expected to produce a 25-page research paper on their findings, which will be presented in the seminar.
The research topic for fellowships to the 2011 Emerging Leaders Program and U.S. Diversity Fellowship is community foundations.
Other topics including corporate and diaspora giving will be considered on a tuition or institutionally-funded basis.
Each fellowship award covers the cost of tuition. Nestlé Scholarship helps females through IMD MBA program.
IMD is one time again encouraging gifted females executives to apply for its annual Nestlé Scholarship, which offers CHF 25,000 towards the cost of the school’s prestigious MBA program.
“Like Nestlé, IMD strongly believes that there ought to be more females in management, and one way that they can contribute is by giving more females the chance to study at top business schools,” says Jim Pulcrano, an Executive Director at IMD. “We don’t require deserving females to put off studying at IMD due to the cost of the program, which is why the criteria for this scholarship include both academic excellence and financial need.”
The current scholarship holder, Rachna Dayal of India, selected IMD for its international point of view – something that he says is critical in an increasingly globalized marketplace. So far he’s found the program both intense and hectic. “This is nice, as I came here expecting no less,” says Dayal, who trained as an engineer before moving in to business development. “I think that IMD is doing an excellent job in preparing us for challenging careers. Management jobs today are complex and demanding, and IMD provides the right combination of tools that are helping us to create and grow as expert managers. I am also impressed by IMD’s willingness to help and support us in personal growth, which provides the right foundation for corporate leadership and responsibility.”
The Nestlé MBA Scholarship was established in 1996 after a team of females MBAs from the class of 1995 done a project called “Changing the shape of business” and then Nestlé gladly agreed to fund the scholarship.
Pulcrano noted the importance of having a major company such as Nestlé sponsor the scholarship. “Nestlé recognizes that it does not have as plenty of females in senior management positions as it would like, but it is committed to changing that balance through schemes such as this as well as its gender diversity program,” he said.
The scholarship is open to accepted females candidates from around the globe (employees of Nestlé and its subsidiaries are not eligible) and preference is given to females who come from the developing world. IMD is determined to maximize the number of eligible females who benefit from its various financial aid packages, so judges from IMD and Nestlé, concentrate on candidates who won’t be receiving other scholarships. Candidates ought to submit a 750-word essay discussing the topic: “Does diversity in management impact the bottom line? If so, how?” Entries must be received by September 30.

Value of Award
Each scholarship provides: -
(A) Student concessionary or other approved air fare to the United Kingdom by the most direct and economical route and return on expiry of the scholarship (the cost of journey made before receipt of award will not normally be reimbursed nor can fares be paid for a scholar’s dependents).
(B) Approved tuition and examination fees.
(C) A personal maintenance allowance payable monthly.
(D) A grant for books and apparatus in the first year of study and for a subsequent full year also; and a grant towards the expenses preparing a thesis of dissertation, where applicable;
(E) A grant for expenses of approved travel within the U.K.
(F) An initial clothing grant for most scholars on first arrival from tropical developing countries;
(G) Where a host institution has in advance declared and the Commission has accepted, the need for fieldwork outside the United Kingdom, a grant towards the cost of such fieldwork, which shall not normally exceed one economy and tourist class return fare to the fieldwork location. Scholars for whom fieldwork fares are provided to their home country shall not be entitled to a mid – term homeward fare;
(H) For married scholars selected by the Commission for awards exceeding 12 months, a marriage allowance per mensem is payable provided that the husband and wife are residing together at the same address in the United Kingdom. It is not paid when a husband or wife of the scholars is also in receipt of an award, or is in paid employment. For such married couples accompanied by their children, a child allowance is payable for the first, second and third child under the age of 16 provided they are residing with their parents. A scholar who is unaccompanied by spouse but accompanied by children for whom he/she is legally responsible, shall receive the equivalent of the spouse’s allowance for the first child, and child allowances for the second and third child, irrespective of the length of tenure of award.
Scholar’s emoluments are not subject to United Kingdom income tax, but holders and their spouses may be liable for the payment at least in part of any Council tax levied by the local authority where they live.

Applicants for level of course at ‘1’ in Para III above whose programme requires them to practice clinically, or to work in a laboratory department reporting on samples from patients, can be considered only if they are eligible for registration with the General Medical Council or the General Dental Council. Information about current conditions for registration can be obtained from: -

Candidates whose native language is not English will be required to provide evidence that they have sufficient competence in English to practice Medicine or Dentistry in the United Kingdom. Nominated candidates will be required to take the IELTS, for which they may contact local British Council Office.
(B) FOR Ph.D. DEGREE:-
One should hold or able to produce the certificate of Master’s Degree by 31st August 2011 in the concerned subject fields (indicated above) securing 60% or above marks in Humanities and Social Science group and 65% or above marks in the relevant subjects in Medical, Engineering and Technology, Science and Agriculture group.
Value of Award
Each scholarship provides: -
(A) Student concessionary or other approved air fare to the United Kingdom by the most direct and economical route and return on expiry of the scholarship (the cost of journey made before receipt of award will not normally be reimbursed nor can fares be paid for a scholar’s dependents).
(B) Approved tuition and examination fees.
(C) A personal maintenance allowance payable monthly.
(D) A grant for books and apparatus in the first year of study and for a subsequent full year also; and a grant towards the expenses preparing a thesis of dissertation, where applicable;
(E) A grant for expenses of approved travel within the U.K.
(F) An initial clothing grant for most scholars on first arrival from tropical developing countries;
(G) Where a host institution has in advance declared and the Commission has accepted, the need for fieldwork outside the United Kingdom, a grant towards the cost of such fieldwork, which shall not normally exceed one economy and tourist class return fare to the fieldwork location. Scholars for whom fieldwork fares are provided to their home country shall not be entitled to a mid – term homeward fare;
(H) For married scholars selected by the Commission for awards exceeding 12 months, a marriage allowance per mensem is payable provided that the husband and wife are residing together at the same address in the United Kingdom. It is not paid when a husband or wife of the scholars is also in receipt of an award, or is in paid employment. For such married couples accompanied by their children, a child allowance is payable for the first, second and third child under the age of 16 provided they are residing with their parents. A scholar who is unaccompanied by spouse but accompanied by children for whom he/she is legally responsible, shall receive the equivalent of the spouse’s allowance for the first child, and child allowances for the second and third child, irrespective of the length of tenure of award.
Scholar’s emoluments are not subject to United Kingdom income tax, but holders and their spouses may be liable for the payment at least in part of any Council tax levied by the local authority where they live.
